Valmont Plein Air offers the must-try self-guided descent of the Cap-Chat River. You can choose between 2 routes. The 5 km descent is perfect for trying kayaking or SUP (stand-up paddleboarding) and is accessible to children. The 17 km route is only slightly more challenging and allows you to fully enjoy nature!

Glass experience activity (30–45 minutes). Are you fascinated by stones? There is nothing like a visit to the Mont Lyall Agate Mine to satisfy your thirst for wonder!

On the site of a former 350-million-year-old volcano, the two open-air quarries are filled with magnificent geodes of all sizes. Once cut in half, the stones reveal cavities lined with crystals and minerals such as agate, jasper, carnelian and quartz in every colour.
