A favourite activity for many Gaspesians, fishing from the wharves is a great way to meet local people!

An access point to the ATV trail network is located very close to the campground, leading to several breathtaking viewpoints over the Chic-Chocs.

2 km - 2 minutes
Municipal rest area offering a great space to park and inflate your gear.
kiteforce.ca recommends this spot with E and NE winds.
Also very close to the excellent Cartier Beach spot in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts.

3 km - 3 minutes - $
This network runs along the shores of the Cap-Chat River estuary and follows a meander and a salmon river. The trail crosses through the undergrowth and, in some places, passes beneath a sparse forest cover composed mainly of conifers. Throughout the hike, it is possible to see the Chic-Chocs mountain range in the distance. A new linear trail allows you to go out and back and reach a slightly higher elevation.

Opened in 1987, Le Gaspésien Golf Club offers an 18-hole course in an exceptional setting with views of the St. Lawrence River, the town of Sainte-Anne-des-Monts and the Chic-Chocs mountains.

12.1 km - 10 minutes - $$
A shop specializing in cycling and water sports. Biseak offers sales, repair and rental services for bikes and paddleboards. A friendly and welcoming atmosphere guaranteed! Biseak also offers Fatbike rentals.

18 km - 17 minutes - $
Vélo des Monts is preparing for its 2nd year of trail openings in summer 2022 at the Haute-Gaspésie Outdoor Centre in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts. Come discover our 11 km of trails and a magnificent view of the St. Lawrence River and the town of Sainte-Anne-des-Monts!

The Chic-Chocs Wildlife Reserve borders Gaspésie National Park to the east. Part of the reserve is even enclosed within the park. This geographic location, on the outskirts of a protected area, makes it a remarkable place of choice for wildlife and for the beauty of its landscapes.
